Instructions for Diksha Candidates

  1. Please note that candidates for Harinaam Diksha must fast till completion of Yagya and candidates of Brahman Diksha must fast until they receive Gayatri Mantra from Guru Maharaja. Those on medication can have fruits and water.

  2. Please memorize the Guru Pranama mantra and the 4 regulative principles before the date of Diksha, as you will be asked to recite them in front of a senior disciple, and on their approval, you will receive Tulasi japa beads and your spiritual name from Guru Maharaja.

  3. On the day of diksha, it is compulsory for all candidates to attend Mangala-arti or at least Guru puja.

  4. Diksha registration counter will be arranged in the temple premises.

  5. For the yagya, it is compulsory for everyone to wear new and unused clothes.

  6. Prabhujis are requested to wear dhoti and kurta, head and beard should be clean shaved.

  7. Mataji’s should wear sarees, those found wearing Punjabi dress or Gopi dress will not be allowed to sit in yagya. Hair should be neatly tied and pallu should be kept over the head. (Those matajis who are having monthly periods they shouldn’t sit in yajna but they can sit in name giving ceremony but someone else can collect beads on their behalf. For Brahman diksa they can take at a later event.)
